Registration FAQ

For many years now FYSA has required all players to be registered through GotSoccer. In the past, we would gather the information and we would transfer it ourselves. Now it is directly through them..

Yes, those returning already have accounts at GotSoccer. If you don’t know your log-in information, contact us and we’ll be happy to send it to you.

No. With the GotSoccer system you must make a payment or sign-up for a payment plan to complete the registration.

At this time we only support online registrations through GotSoccer as it ties in directly with FYSA which allows us to streamline our processes and verifies every players is registered with the club and our league.

Competitive FAQ

It is a Traveling Program. The “next level” for dedicated players from U8-U19. It is a highly competitive environment where we develop player skills on both the individual and team levels.

The cost varies by team, for more detailed information please call 352-561-8239 or e-mail info@thevillagessc.com.

For all competitive ages, uniform costs are an additional $140 which includes 2 Game Jerseys, 2 Shorts, 2 Socks & 2 Practice Jerseys.

We offer a payment plan to spread fees over a specific time frame.

At the time of registration, you can choose to pay in full or select the payment plan option. The payment plan will divide the total cost into X monthly payments that will be automatically charged to your credit card. Example: if you register on June 4th and your total is $300, you will pay one third ($100) on the day of registration, one third ($100) on September 4th and one third or final payment ($100) on October 4th.

This program is divided into 2 seasons. Fall and Spring with games for approximately 3 months each (practice schedules may vary.) Tournaments and other events may take place over holiday weekends and beyond the regular schedule.

Teams practice 2-3 times per week. Teams have different dates and times. Contact your coach for the latest information.

For regular season away games we travel no more than 2 hours away with most games within 1 hour of our home field.

Yes. Players will be assigned teams according to the evaluation results. We will not hold any spots. If you are not able to attend the tryouts there is a possibility that a spot might still be open. If you cannot come to the tryouts, please contact us. If spots are still open we will contact you with further instructions.

After tryouts are concluded, you will be notified of the results via e-mail. You must then register online. If your complete registration (including payment) is not made in a certain timeframe (explained in e-mail response) you may lose your spot.
